Flash Mob WWFM-May 10

This looks like a great idea--a Flash Mob. It lasts exactly 15 minutes. There are over 80 of them happening in 9 countries that day. Look on the events calender for May 10.

All we need is a reasonable size park. No special set up except a bucket for logs. Read any of the event sheets for that day. They are all similar. Some have event cache set up, some do group photos. Trying to find background info but it's getting take. Will check out further tomorrow. There's none in NYC area.

Let's do it! any volunteers? How about one in Nassau or Brooklyn?

Are you volunteering? I think Coney would be great--someplace out on the sand perhaps? I would have like an 11:11 start--time to get to Mom's house for her day and enough time to travel by subway if going that way.

I just realized that I have an all day class on May 10th.

Personally I don't want to go all the way to Coney Island after being at the end of Staten Island the week before.

What are the guidelines for this flash mob? Are we doing the same thing as everyone else around the world or can we do our own thing?

I will track the information down. I looked on the event calendar for May 10 and they all say almost the same thing.

How about Flushing Meadow? Around 10 am?
