Cotton Malone? Reviewer?

Anyone know who Cotton Malone is? He / She published a cache in New Jersey recently but I can't tell what the story is - if it's a new reviewer for the area or a one-time deal. The cache that was published is , by a new account with zero finds and just this one hide. Which makes me think it may be some sort of special project and it's being published from afar.

But I'm just spitballin' here...

Cotton Malone is the (male) protagonist in Steve Berry's series of international thriller novels, which is an interesting choice of name. Reviewer registered on 25 June, so perhaps it's someone new?

And stranger still...

Today, the CO, "Sir Gilbert Von Woof", disabled the cache and posted that the container is missing. "Sir Gilbert Von Woof" also has no finds, and only owns this cache.

There is a "Matches Malone" in the Batman universe. He was a petty criminal who died. Later, Batman used his identity to infiltrate the mob. No idea where "Von Woof" comes from.

The CO has been around for over a year so there doesn't seem to be any conspiracy going on. Interesting that this cache is called "Morris Canal Greenway #13" even though there are no other "Morris Canal Greenway " caches. Are caches 1 -12 coming soon?

Lord Stirling I've encountered before... and he seems to be exactly that, a sort of substitute teacher for our area. I had a couple of email exchanges with him a couple of years ago.

Actually Lord Stirling in none other than Briansnat. He has been a long time reviewer for NJ. He's kinda stepped back from it a bit and only recently started publishing caches again.
One of the nicest guys out there!
And it seems like our NY Admin must be on vacation, since Brian is publishing caches here on Long Island.
Maybe Ben is taking some time off or taking it easy for a while while Cotton Malone is publishing caches for him in NJ.

New reviewers usually create new username accounts or pseudonames purely for publishing caches. It's does happen that a reviewer who also does alot of caching will use his everyday username such as mnt-man, who published my FlashMob that I "hosted" last year in Victoria, Canada.
