Garmin Oregon 450

... price on the 450 of 270, that's very hard to pass up. I prefer not to run Parallels/BootCamp anyways. Although the Triton 2000 is a great GPS, I really need a Mac compatible one, and Garmin seems to have a decent reputation with it's Oregon series- has anyone else had experience with the 450? ...

I enjoyed that series a lot as well, I did them on Saturday. Very well put together, and they bring you to a variety of neat areas.

They really do work best even in areas that are filled with muggles, due to the fact that there isn't a physical cache.

Had a really great time last year even though I arrived late.Water caching by kayak was great and I will be there again this year with my wife who has recently signed on as a cacher-Caleña. Will not be camping but staying in a local motel for the evening.Yeah I'm a baby -so what!

... there it seems fine and the park rangers will pass me by several times on their rounds. Other times there's hardly a soul around except for some really freaky dudes just wandering back and forth through the woods... :-?
