Re: Not Signing the Logbook

... for letting people play the game their own way. I have three kids! They take enough of my energy. (Although I did audit B&A after I noticed those suspicious lilagul Found It's a few days ago...)

But in NYC for example, with the (1) resolution of the satellite photos, (2) availability of identifiable landmarks from those photos, and (3) GPSr performance issues in the concrete canyons, I think Google Maps is a perfectly legitimate way to play the game. It may simply ...

Re: Metro NYGCS banner on cache pages

... That will tell the browsers to do what you want them to do - throw a couple of line breaks in between each paragraph. Otherwise, if you don't put those <p> and </p> marks, the browsers will run all of your paragraphs together, even if you hit the return key a million times when typing your description ...

Re: FTF Etiquette

... it doesn't feel like groundspeak forum post count is enough to overcome my own sense of logic (some of the loudest and most insistent people in those forums I sadly count among the people I see least eye-to-eye with on many issues). (Edited - changed names to not reflect any actual groundspeak ...

... supported by groundspeak. Overall it was a resource hog, and because of it's general suckiness apparently only 200 people were actually using it. Those two things don't make for a good combination. So, no more network .kml - RIP.

... 100 feet, and one posted the readings he got at the site in his log (since edited out). Turns out the cache had originally been published with those coords, but there was a proximity issue. The owner submitted new coords, but didn't actually move the cache. The reported coords were of course ...

Re: Custom NYC Attribute Icons?

Re: GSAK gpx file & colorado

I'm wondering if the coordinates are getting overwritten on the basis of the Waypoint Code... When you edit the waypoint in GSAK to include the final coordinates, can you also edit the Waypoint code? For example, if it's GC12345 can you change it to GC12345f or something along those lines?
