Typo got me banned. Someone please help me.

"In a thread about ignoring caches, you posted the following: "I have the same, issue. God da--ed Delaware reviewer and the New Jersey border!" I have hidden this post from view, because it violates our forum guidelines. ...

User Dynamic D/T Rating System??

... there is some history to this topic, so please forgive my ignorance of a foundation others have likely explored/fleshed out (e.g., a previous thread here or on the geocaching.com forums). So what if users (i.e., finders) could post their estimates of what the difficulty and terrain ratings ...

Best Log Thread

I wasn't sure if there was a thread where folks could post a nod to some of the more memorable logs they've come across (my apologies if so), so here this one goes. Now no disrespect to gerkmax, who has some legendary log writing skills, ...

Re: Best Log Thread

In the shameless sake of providing a bump, I'll note that some of my most favorite reads come from caches that are in very remote/exotic places. For example, GC2ERRT used to have a fantastic log from a German cacher which now seems missing. Still, this has got to be one hell of a cache to track down...

NYC "seed caching"?

... ducky that we hope to incorporate into a local NYC hide at some point as tribute. I thought it would be interesting to try to start a discussion thread along these lines here. A few previous (and fairly old) Groundspeak threads exist that have some interesting points of view. I wonder if it might ...

Re: Best Log Thread

Fantastic new log by Behistun for GC2EX4T.

PS Tempted to see if I can go on a mission to find that archived multi. It sounds pretty epic!

Re: Best Log Thread

Another great one is not a specific log per se, but a specific cache. None other than Bridges & Arches of Central Park (GC17MX1) by addisonbr. This is one of those caches that is just so great, pretty much everyone that finds it takes the time to write out a great log detailing some aspects of t...

Re: Best Log Thread

Ooh, another good one with a whole array of fantastic logs: GC2CFKA. I want to see if we can track this one down ourselves and create a fantastical tale all of our own. Note the "Hardest cache to find on the East Coast" comment, but most endearing is the part about the puppy barking (I won...

Worst Container Thread

... as possible. So to help facilitate progress along these lines (and have a bit of a chuckle/fun), I thought it would be instructive to start a thread that highlighted some of the worst container types that we have come across. There is no disrespect nor shame here (ideally any cache containers ...

Re: Best Log Thread

... numerous times over the last 11+ years (damn you global climate change!), this post here might have also been appropriate for the 'Worst Container Thread' as well! BB PS Note the terrain clocking in at a modest 2.5. Clearly this cache is easier to get to than GC1BE91 (which actually has been logged ...

Re: Central Park asks for Geocache Removal

... search for archived geocaches on Geocaching.com. A problem they say they will fix due to popular demand, but who knows when) I found an old thread about problems with Central Park geocaches that seems to make it clear that the CO needs to be local. Well I'm glad this group has already solved ...
