... As another way of celebrating Star Wars Day this year, we will have a limited number of trackable lightsaber coins available for sale. The coins, which will be in the shape of a lightsaber, will represent both sides of the Force. The front of the coin is blue, representing the Jedis (Obi-Wan Kenobi, ...

Re: Tracking my search with my Garmin 305

I have the 305 which I've used primarily for running and cycling but I find it an effective tool for recording all my tracks for my days when I geocache. I usually hike out to Pelham Bay Park but drive to Van Cortlandt park. I use ...

They treat these situations as humorlessly as they would someone waving a plastic gun near the presidential motorcade - which is to say with maximum response and zero risk. And so regardless of how challenging (or easy) a cache is, the admins want to steer clear of those ...

Re: Conflicts with Hidden Stages

regardless either the current method or your suggested method requires at least two hikes out to the hide... which I guess is part of the hazard of being an owner now that I think more about it. Yeah, I think you're right. If you unknowingly submit a cache that conflicts with ...

Re: Muttontown Preserve

... ; that looks like a decent place to start for at least the northern part of the preserve. If you go I suggest you take your friend to GC1401W , which is a traditional but has the coordinates for a companion cache in California - trading those coords with a West Coast cacher should ultimately ...

We project a surplus of about $200 or so from the coin sale, of which about $100 will go to Tatanka49 to reimburse him for the Metro banner, and I'll use the other $100 to buy mailing supplies (we already collected ...

Re: County challenge

We'll be doing Central Park, which I believe is New York county. We're staying at a friends on Staten Island, which, if I'm not mistaken, is Richmond County. So that leaves Kings and Queens county? If I look at a map right, I believe we ...

Working against you is that most of that free admission is from October through March, which is now in the rear-view window (or far off in the horizon). It's certainly possible, but realistically it could go either way. The best advice ...
