A Chatty cache goes to New York

... Banff, Calgary & Edmonton, and many more places in between. We couldn't miss this opportunity to re-visit New York, first time here as cachers though, and spend some time doing: GC17MX1- Bridges & Arches Cache And of course we also wanted to meet up with some other cachers to swap TB's ...

Re: Good GPSr for Schools?

Great, thanks for the suggestion. I saw that the HC model is on Amazon for only $137, which I am leaning towards even though it's a little more expensive... Not for the color so much as the USB connectivity (they have a Mac in the classroom so I think the PC serial cable is a non-starter). ...

It's not geocaching-related, but the guys who placed the Cartoon Network advertising signs under Boston bridges were arrested afterwards as ...

You can try this place:

I don't have a good read on how competitive the pricing is though.

Re: New iPhone and Geocaching

... Interesting that the GPS capabilities were actually demo'd w.r.t. geocaching (or as they call it, "geo-caching"). I hear that even though it has GPS I can't use it as a nav unit, what's up with that? According to the SDK agreement, it looks like Apple doesn't want you using your ...

On the other hand, from Gizmodo... http://gizmodo.com/5024018/telenav-confirms-iphone-in+car-navigation-app Though it's not among the 522 awesome apps launching today, TeleNav will soon fill a pretty big hole by providing a turn-by-turn in-car GPS navigator app for the iPhone ...

Re: Bookmark Lists - One Man's Manual

Re: Not Signing the Logbook

... trying to be helpful. I've replaced more than one cache container, for more than one CO, in my day, and I didn't think I was being a bad guy (although I never did it after failing to find the cache in the first place, and then claiming it as a find). But as far as the people who found the replacement ...

Re: Cache Placement Etiquette

Re: Caching Peeves
