Five of Diamonds

... secret in the Bronx. I'm here to ruin that, and spread the word. Can't think of a better place to do that than here. If you find yourself caching in the Bronx, it's worth a few minutes of your time. My log has more information. The cache page is here: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=684a830e-0bf1-4c6a-af36-073fbe453ffd ...

Military Containers and Geocaching in NYC

... year (arrests, fines, etc.): http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,249110,00.html I'm not afraid to admit I'm nervous about the implications for NYC caching in general. Re: Paperless caching

Re: New iPhone and Geocaching

Saw this on Engadget. Interesting that the GPS capabilities were actually demo'd w.r.t. geocaching (or as they call it, "geo-caching"). I hear that even though it has GPS I can't use it as a nav unit, what's up with that? According to the SDK agreement, it ...

Re: New iPhone and Geocaching

Took it out for a little geocaching spin today. One-sentence summary - inadequate in many ways, but software development will probably cure much of it. - The accuracy of the GPS seems fine. I suspect that some of the physical limitations ...

Re: Help in choosing a new GPSr

... my computer all the time and I'd really feel it if that was taken away. I think that most GPSr's have plenty enough power/accuracy to satisfy our caching needs, so I wouldn't get too intoxicated by the stats for the really high-end units. If you like the interface and the compatibility, I think ...
